Brown Rice Cafe ~ ブラウンライス カフェ

Many think that Vegetarians & Vegans get a raw deal in Tokyo but honestly speaking there are many restaurants that cater to their needs. One such restaurant is Brown Rice cafe which is an extension to Neal’s Yard Remedies, a store that sells organic natural health & beauty products. In fact, I do plan on highlighting more restaurants for my herbivorous friends.

It is located in Omotesando which is an upmarket area, so one may find such restaurants pricey & portions a little small but my vegan friends feel its like manna from heaven ! The set meals are well balanced, delicate, delicious & a fresh take on traditional Japanese cuisine. And it does make you feel nourished & energized after shopping around. Reservations are recommended otherwise you have to wait for at least 30 minutes. You could try your luck though.

Exit Omotesando subway station (Chiyoda or Ginza lines) at exit A1. The Coach store is on your left, there is a small side street between Coach & Hugo Boss. Turn left down this street, walk a couple of minutes, you’ll see Neal’s Yard and Brown Rice on your right.
