Heard about this place online so thought of checking it out over the weekend.
It’s about a 5-7 min walk from Jiyugaoka station’s main exit. It is a small shopping complex that comprises of six buildings that house a hairstylist, cram school for kids, organic pet food store, aesthetic salon, and a leather goods store.
The infusion of Gothic, Byzantine and Moorish architecture can be seen in the beautifully designed mini bridge, old lamp posts, bricks, balconies, arches, tiled roofs plus an original gondola. In fact, I heard this place was used as a movie set. Honestly, if you were to ask me, I’d say it’s a great photo-op. Nice place for young romantic couples.
Don’t keep your expectations high. Visit La Vita only if you happen to be around the vicinity or if you want to take pictures to trick your friends into believing you are on a Venetian vacation. Bon viaxo !
