Linde ~リンデ

A popular place that sells a variety of traditional German bread in Tokyo is Baeckerei Kaffee Linde along Kichijoji’s Sunroad arcade. It’s a little out of the way for me so, I was elated when an acquaintance told me that Linde has a small counter located in the basement (B2) of Tobu Plaza depachika in West Ikebukuro.

Not easy to find but the ever so polite & helpful ladies at the information desk helped me out. Well, I tried out a few over the past couple of weeks like Roggen Blumen (Rye topped with 5 kinds of seeds), Roggensoftbrot (100% soft rye), Sonnenblumenbrot (sunflower seeds), Walnut & Hazelnut bread. They also have a few pastries, tarts and sausages. All of which are definitely wholesome & filling. Relishing every slice with all my meals and making sure not to leave any crumbs too.

If you are obsessed with bread, Linde is the place to satiate your cravings !
