Its been a while since I have gone out for brunch, but jumped at the offer when an old friend suggested grabbing a bite at Sarabeth’s in Shinjuku Lumine-2. This restaurant opened in Tokyo on Nov. 1st, 2012. Head out the South exit of Shinjuku station & immediately turn right, pass the Kiosk & take the escalator to the 2nd floor. Honestly, we were lucky to get a table without a reservation. But I strongly recommend making a reservation on weekends.
We ordered the thick, velvety Tomato soup followed by Eggs Benedict ~ which were orchestrated to perfection with warm crispy bacon, toasted buttered muffins, perfectly poached eggs topped with warm, creamy Hollandaise sauce & a fluffy Spinach Goat Cheese Egg White Omelette. For dessert we had Cookie & Cream Cheese cake.
Definitely a little pricey but worth every penny. The service is efficient & it is comfortable for families with kids. And as always it is packed with women. I definitely need to stop by again & sample their other delicacies.
